  • to order in a restaurant,
  • introduce yourself in Spanish,
  • explain just how much Spanish you know

These Basic Spanish words are VITAL if you are planning to travel to a Spanish-speaking country.

By learning to take part in conversations yourself, you are going to teach yourself to respond aloud to real, spoken Spanish.

How to learn Spanish words

Don't waste your time with courses that just teach you vocabulary and grammar. If you are going to make full use of learning another language, you HAVE to speak it. Lessons are normally organized as follows:

  • Your first lesson will be an Interactive Audio Lesson, which requires you to listen and repeat Spanish words in the context of a conversation.
  • Your second lesson will be a Text Lesson, which contains an explanation of the grammar and vocabulary behind what you are learning.
  • Then you will go on to the next lesson in which previous lessons will be repeated in order to memorize what you have learned by progressing further in stead of staying put with one lesson.

Best way to learn Spanish

Work through lessons: listen, speak, and learn! Whatever you do, continue to the next lesson, even if something wasn't clear in a previous lesson. Languages are a way of making yourself understood in one way or another. If one way is not clear for you, chances are big you will find another way when you proceed.

Make sure it feels fun what you are doing and use your imagination that you are speaking with real Spanish people already in a Spanish country.

Visualize as much as you can and make your own Spanish words flash cards like the one above.
